Cisco Systems and move from Authorised Reseller status to Premier
Partner status. In recent weeks,
one of our Professional Services Specialists, Gary Bowen,
successfully passed his CCNA exam while our Network
Specialist, Mark Demczuk, added Wireless LAN Design Specialisation to his CCNA and
CCDA accreditations .

CCNA Certification:
The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network
Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge
of networking. CCNA certified professionals can install,
configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services
for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but
not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial,
Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists. |

CCDA Certification:
The CCDA certification (Cisco
Certified Design Associate) indicates a foundation or
apprentice knowledge of network design for the Cisco Internetwork
Infrastructure. CCDA certified professionals can design
routed and switched network infrastructures involving
LAN, WAN, and dial access services for businesses and
organizations. |

LAN Design Specialist: As
organizations adopt wireless LAN technology to gain the
competitive advantages of an increasingly mobile and productive
workforce, they need qualified professionals who can design,
install, support, and operate a wireless solution. The
Cisco Wireless LAN Design Specialist indicates significant
knowledge of relevant factors involved in deploying Cisco
Wireless LAN solutions. Cisco Wireless LAN Specialists
understand radio technologies associated with WLAN 802.11
standards, understand WLAN and bridge topologies and applications,
can configure WLAN products including access points, bridges,
client devices and accessories, can explain Aironet software
and management features, can configure various security
methods for Wireless LAN environments, understand basic
antenna theory, understand how to perform a site survey
covering WLAN topology
and design, and understand vertical market deployment
and challenges including equipment utility and cable awareness. |
